When one thinks of Ferrari, a red sports car (or race car) with a screaming engine typically comes to mind. As reported by Jalopnik, Ferrari may soon also be synonymous with SUVs and advanced comfort features.
A European Patent Application owned by Ferrari has been uncovered that relates to an air conditioning system that takes into account solar radiation and the temperatures of different parts of passengers' bodies and optimizes air flow based on factors such as body shape, the amount of clothing worn and even gender.
Some are speculating that the system will be implemented in Ferrari's forthcoming Purosangue SUV, which Ferrari prefers to describe as a "crossover" (perhaps given that its former President, Luca di Montezemelo declared that Ferrari would never build a SUV).
