He’s got ninety-nine ninety-four trademark applications, and “2/J” is a new one. American rapper and music mogul, Jay-Z, has already dominated the music production world, and it looks like he has set his sights on TV and movies next.
Details are limited, but the rumour mill is swirling, as many suspect that Jay-Z might be developing his own production company. As reported by TMZ, Jay-Z’s company, S. Carter Enterprises, filed to trademark “2/J” for “entertainment services in the nature of creation, development, and production" of film and television projects.
Jay-Z has already won twenty-three Grammy Awards and has one Tony Award nomination. It looks like the coveted EGOT may be in his future.
