Happy new year!
The coming-into-force of the amended Patented Medicines Regulations (“Regulations”) has been further delayed until July 1, 2021. The Regulations had been scheduled to come into force on January 1, 2021 (and were originally scheduled to come into force in July 2020).
The updated Patented Medicine Prices Review Board ("PMPRB") Guidelines will also not take effect until July 1, 2021.
The PMPRB has conducted (and made accessible online) various webinars to attempt to assist stakeholders in transitioning to the new Regulations and updated Guidelines.
