As reported by Gaming Bolt and Alt Char, Sony Interactive Entertainment has filed a trademark for “Soho Engine” in Europe.
Team Soho is a British video game developer, which closed back in 2002 and can be credited for the PlayStation 2 exclusive, The Getaway.
While the trademark filing does not reveal what Sony has planned, there is hope that this means that a sequel or reboot to The Getaway is under development. Another theory is that SIE London Studio – creators of Blood and Truth – are developing a VR engine.
