A Class Action Suit By Quebec Inventors Has Been Authorized

August 4, 2018

--

The Globe And Mail is reporting that a class action suit brought by a group of Quebec inventors has been authorized by the Quebec Superior Court. The inventors allege being duped into paying membership fees and other costs related to registering patents to the federation of Quebec inventors but receiving nothing or little in return. The suit is seeking $2,000 for each inventor and, to date, 120 people have registered for the class action.
