Applebee's reportedly reaches settlement with “spooky” wine brand

As reported by Law360, Applebee's has resolved a dispute over a trademark filed by Vampire Family Brands LLC, a company that sells wine under its VAMPIRE trademark.
In 2019, Applebee's promoted Halloween-themed $1 Vampire cocktails. Vampire Family Brands LLC alleged that Applebee's infringed its VAMPIRE trademarks registered for wine, cocktails, and other food/drink items.
