Travis Kelce, three-time Super Bowl champion and Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight-end, has reportedly filed multiple new trademark applications in Ohio according to records from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Kelce's new trademark applications include:
“KillaTrav” (Kelce’s Instagram handle)
“Flight 87” (a reference to Kelce’s jersey number)
“Alright Nah” (Kelce’s signature catchphrase)
“Kelce’s Krunch” (Kelce’s upcoming cereal brand)
Kelce reportedly intends to use the trademarks to sell merchandise, including cereal, posters, bobble heads and clothing.
The trademarks appear to be a strategic business move as Kelce’s popularity has rapidly increased this past season.
The increase in popularity is likely largely due to his relationship with Taylor Swift. Kelce’s jersey sales reportedly increased 400 percent after Swift attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game in September.
