Toyota recently filed a trademark application with the European Union Intellectual Property Office for its BZ logo.
BZ, which stands for Beyond Zero, is Toyota’s new electric vehicle sub-brand. There is speculation that there will be at least five BZ Toyota models.
After years of pursuing hybrid and hydrogen cars, Toyota is seemingly pushing to enter the electric vehicle race. Earlier this month, documents were published, which showed that Toyota and Subaru had filed patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office involving an electric sedan. There have also been rumours that Toyota may soon be partnering with Tesla.
