Germany's federal court has reportedly determined that the golden tone of Lindt's foil-wrapped chocolate Easter bunnies deserves trademark protection.
Lindt had previously attempted to secure trademark protection for the shape of its bunnies but has now shifted strategy to protect the shade of the foil wrapping instead.
