Marvel Moves to Bring Application Against “Black Panther” Baby Carriages

January 7, 2020

--

Marvel is fighting back against a California-based manufacturing company’s trademark application.

The California-based company has sought to register a trademark for selling “Black Panther” branded baby carriages and car seats for pets, among other items. The application was accepted and published for opposition, but the lawyers for Marvel have asked for a delay to the trademark application in order to oppose it.

It’s unclear if Marvel’s opposition has anything to do with its partnership with KidsEmbrace, which launched a line of Black Panther themed car seats earlier this summer, exclusively through Amazon.
