Taylor Swift has reportedly filed an application to trademark “Female Rage: The Musical”, after adding a new chapter from her latest album, the Tortured Poets Department, to the Eras Tour, leaving fans to wonder what is next for the global superstar.

According to the U.S. Patent and Trademark office, Swift is applying for the right to use the phrase, “Female Rage: the Musical,” regarding musical sound recordings, live performances, and theatrical productions. The application also includes that the potential trademark would possibly be used for merchandise such as jewelry, journals, notebooks, bags, clothes, and beverage containers.

Fans have been theorizing regarding how the trademark will be used. Some fans believe that Swift is laying the foundation for a Broadway musical or a behind-the-scenes film of the Tortured Poets Department section of the Eras Tour, but others believe that it is simply a filing for intent to use.

Swift often files trademark applications prior to releasing new merchandise.
