As reported by PatentlyApple, Apple filed for the trademark “iPhone for Life”. The slogan is used outside of North America and may refer to what is called the “iPhone Upgrade Program” in Canada and the United States.
While it is unclear if and how the slogan will be used in the North American market, it has been speculated that Apple may be rebranding the program. Alternatively, “iPhone for Life” may be used solely by resellers to distinguish their programs from Apple's own upgrade program.
