As reported by GM Authority, GM has filed a trademark application for the mark, ‘"BrightDrop Trace", with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.
Filed under the Goods and Services category, the listed use of the trademark is for “electrically operated mobile freight and storage containers”.
It seems possible that this new trademark could be the official name of a currently-operating electrical mobile storage container, the EP1, when it eventually gets to market. The EP1 is currently in use in a test project by FedEx, and its features include a lithium-ion battery that charges using a 110V outlet, and has adjustable speeds that reach up to 3.1 mph so it can match a walking pace.
