New System Launched to Deal With YouTube Copyright Claims

July 21, 2021

--

Music Vine, a UK-based music licensing platform, has reportedly launched a system called AutoClear that will automatically release copyright claims on YouTube.

The system automatically detects music used in a YouTube video and releases copyright claims within minutes of the video being uploaded to the public.

Copyright claims are common on YouTube. Even after content creators purchase licences for the music in their videos, there can sometimes be lengthy wait times before YouTube can clear the copyright. This system aims to make the publication of videos with valid licences easier for users.
